From Soil to Garment

The Buzzard Farm is a small, regenerative alpaca fiber farm in western Pennsylvania. By enacting responsible rotational grazing, composting manure to spread on healing lands, we hope to help our planet by greatly improving our overall soil health while keeping our own carbon footprint as small as possible. All of our branded alpaca items are produced entirely on our farm. We stand behind the commitment to ensure quality, social integrity, and a love for small businesses like ours.

Herd & Home Co.

The Buzzard Farm's Herd & Home Co is our handcrafted eco-friendly alpaca product brand. Under this name we offer our wool dryer balls, hand spun yarn, handcrafted soap, soy wax candles and made to order alpaca beanies from our hand spun alpaca yarn. We also have knitted alpaca scrunchies and mini-hat ornaments that look identical to our custom hats. Wool dryer balls are an eco-friendly, health conscious, dryer sheet alternative that are our number one best seller! All fiber products are sourced entirely on our regenerative farm.

The Buzzard Farm's coffee, Herd & Roost Co, is roasted in limited quantities to ensure freshness and quality. All of our coffee is roasted with ethically sourced beans that are purchased in our home state sourced from fair trade sources in South and Latin America. Check the shop update section in our blog frequently to learn about our coffee selections and availability.

How to Order

We will be providing a waiting list as quantities will be limited per our alpaca items. Hand spinning is a labor of love and we appreciate your patience. More information is available on our blog and will be frequently updated. We currently have a selection of alpaca wool dryer balls, scrunchies and ornaments available in our shop. Our alpaca dryer balls and scrunchies are available for purchase in shops across the United States! Interested in becoming a wholesale partner? Send us a message! All wholesale orders take 2-4 weeks for processing.
